“The more I am here, connected to my own experience, the more likely I can experience this sense of oneness where I know I always and forever belong to the Beloved.” ~ Zuza Engler
I weave together a tapestry of tools informed by body psychotherapy, dance movement therapy, expressive arts, psychospiritual coaching, psychosynthesis, neuroscience, shadow work, transpersonal psychology, imagery, kundalini yoga, meditation practices, mindfulness, shamanic practice, energy healing work, energy therapy, sound healing, Jungian dreamwork, and conscious dance movement that lead to lasting healing and transformation.
Somatic Psychospiritual Holistic Healing Services
My intention is to optimally support you in moving forward and achieving your healing transformational goals. Being that I offer various holistic approaches to assist you on your journey, how you get there, is up to you.
Somatic Psychospiritual therapy and coaching integrate the thinking brain, the sensing and moving body, the feeling heart, and the spirit as pure life force.
In contrast, even though soul work is holistically integrative, it's meant to specifically heal and tend to your soul by incorporating the spiritual and the therapeutic through ancient non-traditional spiritual healing practices, and western approaches such as hypnosis.

You can access unconscious material at the soul level. You and I together can follow the intuitive creative process, and encourage unconscious material or a higher intelligence to manifest through using breath, sensation, energy tracking, and inner imagery among other things.
How do you see yourself engaging in your healing process?
How do you see yourself engaging in your healing process?
Not all Holistic counseling services were created equal. What do they mean to you?
My somatic psychospiritual holistic approach is grounded in the premise that the whole person is made up of interdependent mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional parts. Thus, if one part isn’t working properly, all the other parts are affected.
For instance, regardless of the kind of work you and I may end up doing together, I possess the specialized clinical skills and tools to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric syndromes and populations; however, I go beyond the traditional wisdom of appraisal in the clinical environment, as I am very aware of the damage mental health stigma can have on an individual. The goal is to help you make sense of the mental health diagnosis you might have been given and also make sense of your experiences and symptoms, some which may be troubling or confusing. Learning about mental health can help you see that you are not your diagnosis, and that you are not alone.
On a similar note that stems from a holistic approach, I may first consider discussing with clients, what steps they have taken or could take before recommending a medication evaluation; unless, of course, the situation appears to require an assessment by a psychiatrist as soon as possible. When appropriate, I will introduce the use of conscious movement, breath, relaxation and mindfulness exercises, creative expression, reframing, and/or rewiring negative self-talk as viable alternatives of conservative treatment.
With respect to other alternative treatment, client’s spiritual beliefs and practices are integrated into their sessions as the foundation of their healing process. I understand that there is no one definition for spirituality as it may differ from one person to another. Moreover, clients choose how their spiritual beliefs support their individual healing process because I am aware that spirituality may help them find meaning and purpose in their lives, bring hope and healing in times of suffering and loss, and encourage them to seek a better relationship with themselves and others.
I strongly adhere to the belief that there is basic goodness in everyone, that we are all doing the best we can, and that no one is broken, even though it may feel like it at times. I often encourage clients to consider that, when they are willing to do the healing work it takes to get better, then their wounds can ultimately be experienced as precious scars as in Kintsugi or kintsukuroi: the Japanese art of filling in the cracks of broken pottery with gold.
“We all have the capacity to turn our wounds into wisdom.” ~ Oprah Winfrey
